which final fantasy game do you mostly like?

When it comes to the FF games I would have to say FF4, FF6, FF7, FF8, FF9, FFX and FFX-2 (kind of) are the ones that I can play over and over again. I didnt bothered with XI b/c you have to play it online and I think that was a stupid move on Square-Enix's part. FFXII was just boring in my thoughts, it took about 5 minutes to play the whole opening scene, which I didnt even watched most of it. I think that they are changing the game way to much for the up coming FFXIII. I couldnt even play XII, how am I supposed to play XIII then? Maybe it's just me, but I think that they needed to leave it to the old school way of doing things, not change every theme and motif of the series.

i loved ffx-that was the first one i eva played!! i'm currently playing ffxii and i have to admit i was sorta lost in the opening gosh it was long!! but i guess its ok...damn ffxiii looks gd-but unlucky for me its gna be out on the ps3 grrr...

I guess that is the reason why you like the newer ones more, is b/c you had started on a newer one. I had first played FF8. I thought it was the best ever! After that I had started playing the other ones, and I guess I just got use to those instead of these new ones....I think I might try to give FF12 another try (considering that it only cost 20$ now:-p) and see if I change my mind a little.

Final Fanatsy XI was my game for a long, long time, so I'm going to have to go with it. Final Fanatsy XII would be second, because I love the new game play - it's something new and that's refreshing.

Final Fantasy VIII is my favorite, next to that would be Final Fantasy X

Top 5

1. FFXII - It was just plain awesome. So many extras, good graphics, great story. It was the best. Replay and continuity value are very high.

2. FFX - Second best graphics, Great story, massively huge stat pool, and there are always hard bosses from the arena. Major replay and continuity value.

3. FFT - STRATEGY. This game is for the intellectual mind. My first experience with the grid-style battle. Decent story, cool effects, great job pool, and many extras (one which includes recruiting Cloud). High replay value, medium continuity value.

4. FFIX - Very good story line and decent, almost half-chibi-like graphics. There are many things to do in the wide world of FFIX, many mini game, and lot of secrets to uncover. Battles can get repetitive, but customizing your abilities and trying them out is great. High replay value, medium-high continuity value.

5. FFTA - Similar to FFT. Why I like this game is because it has much of the same philosophies as FFT, more jobs (though races act against this), and portability. Medium replay and continuity value.

one reason is because u have to train forever and it gets boring doing that after awhile
