I think that if ppl give anime a try that they can find a genre they like, and deep down I think that every1 has sumthing that they like thats a lil weird, whether it b anime, or games, or w/e

I don't usually bring it up, except sometimes around my siblings. They already knew I'm a video game geek, so it hardly matters.

For friends, when I get talking about "what I was doing yesterday" or "watch any good shows recently" or "what show is that", sometimes it comes up. That's when I just tell them. (It's basically been the same rule with sci-fi too, lol.)

I don't have friends I'm close enough to to watch anime with, and none of my RL friends seem to like it (even if they did, there's not much chance they'd like the same shows as me).

I kind of wish more people shared my interests.

When I tell people, sometimes they make fun of me, but nobody has seriously tried to put me down about it, it's just little jokes and jabs. Anyway in the end, they are the ones missing out on some good shows.

I think more people my age are so busy they can't keep up with any kind of shows anyway, let alone be good friends. But being unemployed, it's really easy to waste a day straight just watching it.

Due to the "nerd" link between games and anime, I find it easy to say "anime is from Japan, like how Nintendo is from Japan" (Nintendo being so popular) and I feel like that kind of gets me off the "weirdo" hook a bit...

I have been fantasizing of meeting someone in RL who loves anime as well! Then, last night, this dude I was working with just asked me out of the blue if I like anime. so weird. we talked for like a half hour after work while his buddy just stood there confused...I realized while glancing over at his friend's blank/slightly annoyed stare that, to him, we were basically speaking gibberish. Made my day! :'D

i keep it a secret, i dont know y lol. if they find out i dont care but i like 2 keep it on the down low. i recently found out that 1 of my friends that i've known 4 a while likes anime. he also didnt want to tell anybody we both had a good laugh about it lol

hah all my friends watch anime, they were the ones that introduced me to it! sorta... I watched DBZ loads (never heard of anime just asumed it was cartoon) then one of them made me watch Naruto, but when it comes to family they thought it was hentai! Almost got grounded once cuz of that xD
