well i love one piece because i don't like watching animes where you barely get to know the characters. Like in one piece they tell you each crew member's past (every single one makes me cry) Long animes let you get attached to the characters as if they were real characters. Short animes you can get attached to them but they end fast and you get disappointed that you can't see more of them. well thats my opinion |

But meh, I like long running anime until I read the manga, then I get frustrated at the slow pace / constant fillers of the anime (though in rare cases like screwed up subs I stop watching then never get back into it - op) Though I do prefer anime with good plot and good development, or if all else fails, just being incredibly funny or gorey. Either way, 12/13/24/26/51/100/100+ Idc, if it's good I'll watch it, if it's consistent I'll continue to watch, that is all. | |

I've only recently started watching anime, and I must say I'm liking the short animes more. Code Geass is definitely my favorite anime of all time, and Deathnote was pretty much right up there too. They had extremely good endings, although, I felt extremely sad/depressed after they ended knowing there wouldn't be any more episodes which is why I guess people WATCH longer running shows to fill the void as people said. The only long running show I like right now is Hitman Reborn! It doesn't have all the action as Bleach or Naruto, but I think it's more consistent. I only watch Bleach and Naruto to somewhat fill the void. |

i like long running anime if it's an anime that i like sooo much that i don't want it to end. i don't like the fillers. best if they follow the manga ( don't add or cut parts out of it)

I don't know. I prefer short animes that are one or two arcs long. The only reason why i watch Bleach is cos I have nothing else to do. To me its a so-so anime. I wouldn't recommend it to anyone as a good anime though..
