The anime you wish you never watched

So we have a thread for anime we just can't watch, but am I the only one who's sat through an entire anime, getting increasingly frustrated, but carrying on because everyone says "Man. This is the creme of the creme, you'll love it"?

Anyway. This is you chance to dis the animes everyone else likes scot-free, but it only counts if you've watched it to the very end.

For me that was Cowboy Bebop and Rurouni Kenshin.

Cowboy Bebop had no collecting plot, and 26 episodes was pure torture, but I have a friend who really adores Spike and loves the show, so I persevered. Despite the fact that I found Spike, his partner, and the woman extremely boring as characters. I only liked the girl. The emotional scenes had absolutely no impact, since I cared nothing for the characters and so, you see why it completely sucked for a person of my temperament.

Rurouni Kenshin... OK, it was a bad idea to watch the OVAs first (only Trust and Betrayal, not Reflection) so I probably had really high hopes going into this but... AAAARGH!!! FRUSTRATION! TORMENT! URGE TO BASH HEAD THROUGH MONITOR!
I hate the animation, I hate the music, and I hate the VAs (most of them at least). I realize that it was animated "long ago" and so some errors are excused, but I have nowhere near this problem with animes like DBZ, which is older. The way they animated walking in RK makes me wanna slowly bleed to death.

That was unintentionally emo.

Anyway, the biggest source of frustration while watching it was the fact that Kenshin never returned to his former homicidal glory. The possibilities for a really interesting plot would have made the Shishio arc seem tame.

Btw, please notice how I didn't even mention fillers here.

Azumanga Daioh... The entire show I was waiting for something to happen... it never did...

Black Lagoon... They tried SO HARD to be cool and never even came close

Both of those were recommended to me, usually when I find a bad anime I stop watching within the first three episodes

lol, it's just to prevent people who's seen less then ten episodes to go "this show suuuucked" all over the place when they hardly know anything about it.
