It would probably be "Seirei no Moribito". A mature woman (like Balsa) with skills to match any male opponent, who wields her spear to protect the weak and in the name of justice. Not to mention, having an attractive, intelligent and competent young doctor/shaman (Tanda) waiting in the wings is nothing to sneeze at.
