Cartoon Network used to have great Anime aswell (Like Dragonball or Cyborg 009). I just recommanded to upload Samurai Jack, but other anime where fun aswell, like Courage the Cowardly Dog and Cow and Chicken. However, these epic anime are missing from AC. Hopefully they will be placed here, fingers crossed!!

for us anime is just japanese, but
Japanese use "anime" for any animation, no matter if it's asian or u.s. or european.

(well, at least I heard so...)

No, Japanese use anime as anything created in Japan.. that's what anime is :/

Fundamentally, anime = Cartoon. However the term anime is specifically used to talk about cartoons from Japan
