There might be a thread for this but whatever:
What anime had an awesome premise but failed in execution?

Personally a big one for me is Highschool Of The Dead.
Zombies? Dawn of the dead style anime? Get in! Yet what do we get? Breasts. Lots an lots of breasts.

That is absolute perfection but other than that i'd say samurai champloo.

Why would you say Samurai Champloo? I thought it was a really well done samurai anime.

i agree, there was nowhere near enough echi stuff in HotD
