School Rumble and Shuffle were what made me a dedicated fan. They weren't my first anime but these are what started my journey in anime that was not shows that passed on TV.

And Dragon Ball, Pokemon, Digimon etc. But they were also the first anime I watched later, knowing they were "anime". | |

Naruto was the 1st anime I watched with knowing about anime, it was recommended by a friend when I was in the 1st year of midle school. as a kid I always loved Pokémon, Digimon, Hamtaro, Yu-Gi-Oh!, Cardcaptor Sakura, B-Daman!, Beyblade etc etc Last edited by Tsunade201; 03-06-2012 at 12:10 AM. |

I would say these animes that I am about to list. They are DBZ, pokemon, digimon and Monster ranchers in dubbed versions. This was still back when I just recently moved to America when I was 7. The funny thing is, that I did not understand english becuase I was still a hardcore foreigner that could not speak english back then lol. DId not know what the stories were, but I got addicted to these animes and started watching them over and over again.

2 stages, casual anime love began back with pokemon and toonami shows. missed out on DBZ, but i always tried to get home in time for it so i often watched every other episode. next stage is otaku, probably great visual novels that turned into good anime such as clannad, shuffle, and steins;gate. when i read those, i knew i became an otaku. |
