Unfinished romantic chains/relationships

In most anime i watch there is always some type of romantice side that is non-important til the main character is about to make a story changing decision. What is your opinion on this, and what feelings are left over from a finished series but an unfinished relationship with in the anime. It makes me wonder if they ever get together or what happends next. How about you?

Hmm...I can't really think of any examples of this that stand out to me. Most anime I watch don't focus on a romance aspect, and the once that I love, never involve one. or it's the other way around. I can love an anime that focuses on romance, and if it's a romance anime obviously they're going to finish it, and everything will be wrapped up nicely.

I'm not really bothered though by character relationships being unresolved if the series wasn't about their romance. Usually by a series end I know the characters well enough to determine what will happen if their romantic ties aren't finished by the time the anime is. *shrugs*

hmmm I'm very curious about the relationship between Haji, Saya and Kai, who will Saya choose between Haji or Kai?? Besides in my opinion the anime and manga are unfinished for me ..
