Have you ever read a manga and imagined a character to sound a certain way, but the you watch the anime and the voice is waaaaay different? This happened to me with Fairy Tail, I'm not sure why, but I expected a Naruto-ish, young sounding voice---boy was I shocked when he opened his mouth on the first episode. lol

Characters of the most OBSCURE titles that had English Dubs sounds like the guys who also did Pokemon and you always have that 'English Dub' function as a pathetic excuse for the DVD/BD version to be called 'Dual Audio'. Like the one I'm watching now called 'Now and Then, Here and There'. It's a dark and languid show but I tripped for one episode and tried the English dubs....then it turn into a comic-relief.

Happened to me in Toriko with the character Sani. I mean I know he's kinda girly with his "beauty" and what not, and I expected a kinda "beautiful man" kind of voice? Don't know how to describe it -__- Anywho, when I watched the anime it was WAAAY over what I expected.
