Jinbei never impressed me while Kisame actually made pretty short work of a Tailed beast.

Aquaman has never impressed me, but I have to admit that he is stronger than someone like Batman. I think this poll is turning into a who you like better instead of a battle.

Indeed. I'm a fan of both but I see no plausible explanation for how Kisame is even a good opponent for Jinbei. It's like Roy Mustang vs Natsu. Natsu can eat fire and isn't hurt by it while Roy's only useful attack is fire and he can be hurt by it. That being said, Jinbei's strength is water while Kisame's attack is water. Kisame is a pretty decent fighter and he's strong physically, but... Jinbei is stronger than Hordy (with tons of drugs) who's waaaaaay stronger than Hordy (after taking a single pill) who's significantly stronger than Hordy (no drugs) who's stronger than Arlong who could easily lift a house.

I don't see Kisame lifting a house.

Strength - Jinbei

Speed - Kisame on dry land probably... but unless he expects to win without water, he's gonna be the slower of the two in this match.

Durability - Jinbei by a long shot from what I've seen.

Techniques - Kisame does have the more impressive techniques... too bad they won't do jack against Jinbei while Jinbei's attacks would probably do more than that to Kisame.

I don't like either. But Jinbei looked so weak during the war while Kisame could easily battle strong people like Killerbee.

It doesn't mean he is. Most of the war arc in the anime is filler. Kisame did not have an easy time battling Killer Bee so I don't know what you mean there.
