shikamaru + kakashi might have a chance. As soon as akainu gets captured he'd be killed by a kamui. I'd actually be curious as to how a color of observation user could deal with shikamaru. Since they could hear is thought process, but apparently he can think up 200 things at once. >.> He could do the opposite of luffy (not thinking) and try to confuse the shit out of him.

The issue with that is there is no way that Shikamaru's shadow possession could keep someone like Akainu from using his df abilities. Let alone if the shadow possession would see Akainu as a person or an object if half his body is magma. Anyone say magma loogy Anyway if kamui was all that OP then Kakashi would be more a threat than any Uchiha. Not to mention an Admiral is at peak physical condition. Marines have to be strong and fast too.

i think his to fast for the yamanaka's, plus he might just killed them before they even get the chance, we seen him travel underground(he could just stay underground and create volcanos under there feet), also he most likely knows the cp9 tech's, since we've seen the VA's use it, think smoker is the only one that didn't use them.

right, if it was one on one, they'd get owned. Konoha has many people who can temporarily seal or bind him though. This is an entire village, so color of observation won't exactly help too much. Being underground wouldn't help too much, konoha has how many censor types? A single doton user could bring him up.

Not sure if we're assuming genjutsu would or wouldn't work, the lack of chakra argument is pretty dumb.

don't know is a doton user could bring him up honestly, he would just turn the earth to magma. hmm blind him, bind him(with genjutsu or ninjutsu doesn't matter) big ass AOE and just destroy everything around him blindly(only gen that might work is tsukomy). wouldn't he still be able to tell where they were with observation even if he got his sensed blinded by gen?

I just realized all Akainu would need to do is melt the ground under his feet and he could still dodge the Kamui. Anyway's it is either attack underground and kill those who would sense him underground with his own sensing abilities. Or do what Pain did and focus his attacks with death blows. Nail to head he used his Kamui. Missile at Chouji he used kamui. Basically any attack that Akainu does will mean instant death aoe unless dodged or Kamui'd. If Haki can allow someone at Enels level to sense all the Skypieans there is no reason for Akainu to sense the sealers and haxers and know wat they plan. To try and seal him takes time as well, and anyone who tries to get near him is a goner.

No not the hearing peoples words. In truth even the priests were able to sense what the df user was going to do. Luffy with his stretching. Chopper with his heavy point. Moreover Enel judging by his rhetorical bounty was equal to Ace. And we all know how that went. What I am saying is that Akainu should have a range that is atleast equal to Enel. And the force to just outright kill them from long range

enel combined his devil fruit with his haki. the priests range was nothing compared to enels, and they only used mantra on one person at a time.

I don't see why they'd need to get near him to seal him or to use genjutsu.

And no, not any aoe would kill every one. Any wind user could defend against magma, and even earth release could heavily slow it down if nothing else. melting through solid rock isn't so easy, if it were, volcanoes wouldn't even exist

If you think about it, mantra allows you to hear what others are thinking (hence why the luffy thoughtless counter worked) Even if akainu could heard the thoughts of hundreds of shinobi, there is no way he'd be able to interpret so many things going through his head at once.
