I'm sure a comic matchup will be totally okay, but if not: I'm sorry

Who would win out of these two badgers?

Just so people aren't confused:
No sidekick use (otherwise we can add in Bucky).
No team use [JL / Avengers]
Just Batman vs Captain America.
One round Batman has no prior knowledge of Captain, only in battle knowledge.
One round Batman has preparation time.
If you say "he wins because he has a car" explain why he wins because of it.

cap is stronger since his superhuman but batman is quite an expert in hand to hand so wouldn't be that much of a difference

Batman beats Superman, his greatest advantage was his brain, he's smart he knows your weakness,

Batman is also a literal ninja
hes a genesis techy like tony stark (not as smart obviously but still up there)
Batman also knows all so he would know how to defeat cap
Batman has an entire armory full of many different tools for many different uses
he had a robot suit, a car, a jet, etc
Many children side kicks, Cap would never fight a child
He knows like every single martial art
Did i mention he has a butler ?

Captain America has the peak physical strength of any human, pretty great tactician (though not as good as Batman).

Batman is a master tactician (if he gathers intelligence against Captain then he'd be in a great position), peak physical strength (though probably weaker than Captain), gadgets, master of many martial arts. Sidekicks aren't included because that wouldn't be a 1 on 1.

I'd go with Bats, but I think it'd be close.

Random encounter with both of their general gear, I'm assuming? I wonder why people are bringing up prep and jets and stuff unless otherwise mentioned. :X

Cap is peak-human all across the board from speed, strength, to vitality while Batman is just about as close as you can get without outside factors like serums. But Bruce does have extreme knowledge in just about every martial arts style known to man however Cap is no slacker, evident from ranking higher than people like Black Panther and stuff who are also great martial artists, Cap still has a high-level fighting skill capability. He even managed to beat two big strong guys with guns when his serum got deactivated (yes, in his small skinny short weak form), I can get scans of that if you guys like. I'm not sure if Batman's extra gear like sleeping gas would affect Cap as much due to his superior physical capabilities and it's a sure-thing none of his gear can knock Cap's shield off-course, his shield is really underestimated, with a single fling, he can bounce off multiple objects and hit multiple targets with precision and aim to his liking.

With that being said, Bat still does get it imo, because of his extra little gear inside his belt, but not by much.
