I don't like those movies I grew up reading those books and there were so many things wrong with the movie portrayal that it just hurt me haha

I got to like the movies after I watched all the bonus material on the extended version DVDs. Because I understood why they made those changes and that they weren't wrong with doing them. After that I enjoyed the movies a lot.

But with time, after watching tons of book adaptions, I also developed the ability to enjoy books and movies seperately, no matter how different they are.
