Since many manga sections in many forums have a similar topic i found it a good idea to create one for this one as well. So the topic is simple if the current big 3 mangas ( One Piece, Naruto, Bleach) end which mangas will be their replacements and also are any of the current serialized mangas capable to be called the new big 3? Also will the next big 3 be in JUMP again or another magazine will make the difference?

If it doesn't end before one of the other 3 then I'd think that Fairy Tail would jump into one of those spots. Seems like "big 3" material imo

Fairy tail is the one closer to be called one of the big 3 though

Not sure about Beelzebub either. Doesn't seem like it would attract as much attention to become a big 3. It's a damn good manga to be sure, but idk if it will bring in the huge amount of people like the current big 3 has.

The closest things to 'big 3' material that are running atm are probly fairy tail, toriko, and nurarihyon
Over time beelz could probly join that list
and I dont think nurari or toriko will ever be popular enough, then there's fairy tail which has the popularity but the anime doesnt live up to the manga

I'm betting the next 'big 3' will be three new series

so I would say Beelzebub and Toriko, but it depends which way the mangas go, both have high sales (best after the big 3, from JUMP) even though not one of them has an anime yet

and I'm calling it Big 2, you cant consider Bleach anymore in it (pretty bad with sales, ranking, ratings and popularity)

this year - volume wise - its pretty bad (really bad) compared how it used to be, only bad year Bleach had since serialization is 2008 (dunno why)

Toriko is pretty good, and soon is entering a new phase, so it has a lot of room for development
there is a rumor that the reason Toriko still doesnt have an anime is because they are waiting for DB Kai to end so it can replace it (so that Toriko and OP air on TV one after another)
and JUMP is pimping it a lot with OVAs and a movie, thats the reason why I said that it has potential for Big 3 popularity

no manga out now are going to be in the "big 3" because most of them will probably end before the big 3 do.

Fairy tail is probably the closest to them, though it's not even a jump manga, but it also has the potential to go on as long lasting as the big 3, where I can't see some other mangas will.

beelzebub would be the other best bet, but I can't really guesstimate how long it will be yet. I don't see it lasting that long, but you never know.

Bleach is and will always be a part of the Big 3. Sure it's popularity has fallen, but even so it's not going to fall from the 3 just like that. Honestly I look forward to it more than OP...
