Well, HxH is an old favorite of many, also I remember that it sold very well with vol 28-29 that were released before it came back from hiatus, and now it also has an anime, so it's not surprising at all.

But Uchuu Kyodai is surprising me the most from that list, did the anime make it that popular? I may start watching it if it's like that.

It did, around the same as n/b.
It's surprising that many people still stick by it even after the terrible quality and insane amount of hiatuses.

I'd never heard of that series before today, I bet the anime had something to do with the sales, but it would have needed a big fanbase before now to get so high. Let me lookie at previous years.
