wow its been forever since ive been on and i must say quite a drastic improvement as far as sigs go

as for myself i havent been doing much but thought id whip one up just to get some cnc

That looks fantastic. Perfect light source, great use of brushes, and the text fits so well! I love the size too O.O

missed your stuff cyk. i really love it, for all the things chicken named. i wonder though if you could very gently blend the left side of her hair (your left) into the halftone dots, much like how you did with her hand on the left side. just the first part; it seems to pop just a tad too much there.

thats a really interesting thing u made there
i like the colors
the light source is ok in my opinion though i dont like it when its visible where the artist brushed in some light but thats just personal preference
the text rocks ... tons of times better than the text i usually slap onto my tags
theres just something thats bugging me: the render u used has not as much detail as the rest of the signature. thats kinda disturbing the whole image
i would blur the background or something like that to make it better but again thats just personal preference

Atrox i love these kinds of tags.
i think the shadows coming off of the spheres really add to the effect
text looks good imo- easy to read yet seems like part of the sig

dont know if its just me but it appears to be a bit grainy

shouldn't the shadows on the top spheres be angling toward the viewer? to make the perspective correct?

nah ... theyre pointing away from the light source

well thats because theyre absorbing the lightrays coming from the volumetric light (i know my explanation sucks, im struggling with vocabulary here)

just to make sure i will double check but since this is made entirely in a 3d program there should be no mistake with the calculation - i only added some color correction and the text after i slapped the simulation onto the frame
