Graphics' Criticize & Comment!

About:

Here you can get your compositions commented on and criticized by fellow graphic artists. This will help improve the commented on works, as well as improve your overall graphical skill!

Definitely no spamming, comments here are meant to improve the artwork.
When you want to post a new tag to get C&C'ed, check before your post to see if there's any other pieces required to be C&C'ed and do so. Of course it's not required, but it's recommended, so all the C&C'ing doesn't rest upon only a few people's shoulders.
As always, keep adult or extremely graphical compositions for elsewhere.

way too simple...

for starters, lose the text, add some effects (you got heaps of negative space as is) and adjust your colours, theres too much blue atm. After you have done that, work on composition, lighting and depth.

With regards to your manga painting, add some textures where necessary and i think that blueish streak through the hair should be white. Maybe try colouring a more complex scan that requires more colours, texturing and detail.

Lol Shunpo. I'm not a god like you. And I did this in like 4 minutes, because all the Eyeshield 21 fans made quick sigs and avatar's in commemoration of the ending of Eyeshield 21.

Genkuro. Lol I've already CnC'ed this I think. Like I tell you, you gotta start using Adjustment layers. There is no blending into the background. There is no lighting. Lose the text. Compose the background a little more, adding effects and such.
Honestly, what I would do to fix the feel of the sig, put on a Gradient Map adjustment layer, one color orange, and the other a light pink, then set it to Overlay. Or you can just experiment around.
