2 new signatures; CC + nel

O.K. I followed a different tut for each sig, and my results were WILDLY different from the actual sig tuts, however i still reckon they're worth posting, i reckon im improving, i also like the text in the CC one(s).

nel;

still using a classic 3 pix border, i mighta only used 1 pix for that nel one, i cant remember... but yeah.

I was messing around with gradient maps as well but i just cant get a result im happy with, so these will have to do for you guys.

looks great, but i hvnt seen any of ur past work so i dont no if ur improving

anyways to the C&C u want, pls dont hurt me im just c&cing,

text looks ok, however the render isnt adjusted properly to blend it in, ie. it looks like a render was chucked on a background, sorry if i sound harsh. maybe running along the outlines with a soft brush at least could solve that problem or feathering it as well... finally for the nel sig, dont use too many c4ds, unless ur gonna create some good flow with it, which u did do, but the render is too static. ie. it doesnt feel like its moving anywhere.

^ thats not really harsh cnc at all
nel one is ok, the cc one has quite a bit of blending (as stated above) and coloring issues
keep working on tuts

Reminds me of the Bryce and Graphite Brush days.

You can try playing with Hue/Sat layers in lieu of gradient maps. I personally mix them with various blending modes.

(I can only see the Nel sig)
I think a gradient map would help it, there are some pretty random colors mixed in there.

O.k. firstly reply to flame, nah mate thats excellent cnc thanks a bunch, i totally agree with you i'm not great at blending in my renders, the tut i was following was non to helpful either, one of the steps was ... "blend it" and it didnt really tell me how to do it so it looked nice, so i kinda skipped that step

The nel sig, yeah the tut owned mine, i just created a cool looking background, the tut told me to use a render which would go with the diagonal flow i created with the c4ds, no surprise i didnt do that i couldnt find a render i liked so i just whammed nel on there cuz shes cute :P

moving onto the CC sig, yeah the hair was messed up, thats why in v2 i put a cool looking brush coloured green there, to kinda draw attention away from it, the problem was if i stretched it out so the render hit both sides and you couldnt see the bad hair it looked kinda whack, so i just gambled and posted anway, i liked my text on that one though, i overlayed Harry on her leg so it blended with the skin....

umm umagon removed the CC sig cuz it was kind of revealing... even though i would like to point out every rude bit of a womens body was covered, just the majority of her legs showed up

i suck at using gradient maps as well xD i did try a while but i couldnt find anything i preferred in comparison to what i had made.

Anyhows, thanks for the cnc, ill try and keep it in mind next sig i make, tewdles xxx
