Been reading through things here the past 2 or 3 days and figured this would be a fun place to hang and help improve my sig work. So here's a quick introduction, and a few of my sigs.

Basically I'm (I would think) an intermediate sig artist, and I've been doing sigs for a little under a year now. If I had to describe my style it would be a jack of all trades and master of none, or in other words I touch on or use many different styles in my work and have yet to really establish any one as my preferred style. I use GIMP for everything I do, and I've got a fair knowledge of how it works.

Anyway that's about all there is to know about me as far as graphic work goes, now I'll post a few of my sigs.

More or less what you're seeing is a wide variety of the different styles I've used in the past. Some are good, most are average. Opinions and critique are welcome though some of these are many months old.

Anyway, again my main reason for being here is just to get in a new community and keep learning/acquiring new styles and skills for future work. And I already used AC for most of the anime I watch.

(btw am I correct when I assume you can't use [img] till I hit 100 posts?)

somebody told me it was 50
but back in the day it was 100

That's about all 80% of what I do. Sadly there aren't as many GIMP tuts as there are photoshop, so it's hard to find new ones these days.

yea... i would share my PSDs with you but that would do nothing since you can't even open them up

From what i saw the renders stand out too much, but iono if thats hard to change in gimp xD i never use it, the backgrounds always suited the renders though and i just thought if you made them merge it would be a better overall effect.

Anyway say what? You're not allowed to [img] the sigs unless you have 100 posts?? I always do, always have done xD I don't get some of the rules on this forum, another one that annoys me is the 100 posts to request -_-

You don't use [img] at all to put sigs here. You upload it to AC itself (hence the low restriction of 29.3KB for a sig) and then [SIGPIC][/SIGPIC] appears in your sig. And it's still 100 to get an image there.
Though what do you mean with 100 posts to request Swordmaiden?

*edit: On your sigs, I noticed I used the same render of Cloud once.

^^ It was strange to work with with those squares. =D
