Awww! Chopin's Raindrop Prelude is one of my favorites. I'm a Chopin addict after all. You described so perfect: haunting and sad, yet so beautiful. For some reason this song can make me mind-travel from a hot, dry desert to an amazon tropical forest. It reminds me so much of the balance in nature...

I think it fits a rainy day perfectly. Do u think that's why he named it that? It's a dark day and the drops are like tears. Yet it's beautiful because water cleanses everything.

I adore Chopin's Raindrop Prelude, too. He rules the rain, especially on cold nights.

I love this film. Dystopians rock. Has anyone read The Hunger Games by Suzanne Collins? It's pretty much a rip-off of Battle Royale (not to mention the 80's sci-fi The Running Man featuring Arnold Schwarzenegger). Since so many seem to, I'm sure I would have enjoyed the book had I not already had an appreciation for the others. Too late. *sniff*

Check out Brave New World and 1984. They're both dystopian novels.

Oh yeah. I've read 1984 countless times (love!). I'll be reading Brave New World this summer. It's one of those books that's long overdue.

Second movie you mean? If that's what you mean, the answer is yes... But I was a bit disappointed. Even if it stopped at the first movie I'd be content. The second seemed a bit unnecessary and off-point. Like it was trying to create drama but it just couldn't reach me.
