This movie is not for everyone. It is VERY VERY VERY VERY VERY bloody and utterly disturbing. If you are easily sickened, do not watch and definitely do not watch while you are eating.

this was good and all but why did they kill themselves? I get the band had something to do with it but it was never explained and the roll of skin and the kids?

maybe if I watch number 2 that explains something.

All I have to say is wow. This movie for me ranks right up there with Audition. I will probably watch this again. The way it explored how society reacts to certain events and tries to find a definitive reason for the masses actions, in this case suicide. I wonder if the manga is as ambiguous with the "why" people were really committing suicide, subliminal message, negative reinforcement by way of the phone code. The concept is very interesting. I haven't read the manga so I think I'll check it out. Although I would agree it is not for everyone.

I watched until the train scene, at the very beginning.
The blood looked so fake that i didn't bother to watch the rest

Is it that scary?
