Agreed, especially with the comment about watching it as a stand alone movie, and not basing it off the anime. Whoever does that, can just go and die for all i care. Idiots.

meh, unfortunately the only casshern dvd i have is the live-action released in north america... now that is hardcore shit compared to the original... they even have the nerve to put a sticker on the cover saying 'never been seen version!' I thought that version was pretty good, but now that I watched the original... whew..

Post Re: Casshern

I gotta ask, did anyone who uploaded this film tamper with it at all? And am I the ONLY one who noticed the "Bleach" soundtrack that was added to it? I mean come on, those rights alone probably cost a fortune. It's wicked choppy and hard to enjoy in full screen, but let me tell you all this; It is IMPOSSIBLE to translate from Anime to live action no matter how hard you try, for the simple reason that every time something passes through another persons hands it changes. This makes sense, as we are all in a state of flux. Words change, meanings change, music changes as well as QUALITY changes. That is the main reason why I only want to watch Anime in Nipponajin, it simply keeps it pure, and I believe (or hope rather) that the translators work just as hard to keep the originality of meaning in line with the intended meaning and not deviate for the sake of sales. (This covers how watered down Anime gets when it hits America. as well as which Anime gets here.)

The bleach soundtrack is done by the same guy, so it's only natural that u hear some of the bleach theme music in there

Really, there is an American version of this? Is it the same title? I really enjoyed this live action movie. I am going to watch the anime version. Thanks for uploading.

yeah... it's not like a remake; DreamWorks purchased the license for it... I got it at wal-mart, lol, and there was a sticker on it saying never before seen version... apparantly they cut out like half an hour and rearranged scenes to make it less confusing for us stupid americans...
