The manga isn't all that great; the drama is better.

mm i acutally heard good things about it, but i read the description and it seems that the plot is a bit different?

well i think he never really had like a "lovey-dovey" feeling for shiori
i think they just had a very close tight bond with each other; like a "i need you; you're essential to me" kind of relationship and shiori is just crazy and needs to get laid or something.
and also at this point he already like got over shiori because he's realized that she's changed and all
perhaps mameshiba deserves mei...but i won't lie i don't want them together!
although mame-shiba at this point, probably deserves mei more than rihito..
and i think during all the times that rihito was talking to shiori is because he's looking out for mei-chan (i.e. the izumi duel and her family issue)


but worry you not!~
rihito will come to his senses! (: i can't wait 'till he strips away his pride and all that he has as an S-rank butler and sweeps mei off her feet into his arms lol

and give him some credit!
remember when rihito was talking with the white butler:

"White guy with evil grin asked Rihito hasnt he noticed Mei's affection for him? "you are an S rank butler. You know of ways to stop her from developing feelings for you but why didnt you? Have you injected your personal feelings instead of being a butler? not replying me? Then let me let u something interesting. Mei saw you at the greenhouse and how Lucia begged u." The evil butler laughed as he said it. "Her expressions then, was truly interesting" White guy continued grinning. Rihito lost his cool and grabbed him.

"If you are getting mad as a butler, compared to your brother, that is so boring. However if u are mad as a person, as a guy, then you truly are not fit to be a butler!" The white guy taunt Rihito. "i look forward to seeing what u would do." "

Kyaa! I love this series! Although I have my misgiving about Nana being Mei since she is so tall... But she plays mei really well.

I kinda want to hit Rihito on the head and ask what the ******* are you doing? i love that Keito cares so much aout Mei. More more!

XD I'm sure he'll come back to his senses. I know that when he stops to talk to her it's because he wants to make it clear that he's Mei's butler... and I saw so much hope that he'll lose the butler cool when he grabbed Shinobu like that ;D I was like, "Waaay epic." It's just that Rihito is quieter about his affections/protection [like the duels, the good things he has done for Mei which reflect nice on her, etc.] He just needs to forsake his training and choose to be there as 'a man.' ;D [fangirl moment here -squeal-]

In a way, it's nice to see Hiro playing this role. He's doing a great job; I'm proud. It's amazing how he's totally cool, reserved, and yet can show that emotion for Mei.

And you know, the deserving dude never gets the girl. Like in Hana Yori Dango, I always thought Rui was more deserving [especially in the Korean version] and yet she ended up with Tsukasa [which was fiiiine because Jun played an amazing part].

Shiori is freakin' crazy... she should look at the hot, evil butler that she has and be happy with him - leaving Rihito alone. It still beats my head how he can want Rihito to return to his lady, even if that means making himself second; he must care for her, no?

It's great that you brought that up because Hana Yori Dango is still my favorite Japanese drama. They are definitely giving a more "sensitive" feel to the Rui in the Korean version, the kind to be the real knight in shining armor, unlike Oguri Shun who remained calm, collected and a lil bit detached in the whole series.

It's already the latter half of the whole series so I am pretty sure Rihito-sama will abandon all the things he learned as a butler and just show his true feelings to Mei-chan. Like with the hug. His emotions MUST take over.

And we'll all be waiting.

Gah, Lucia-sama should just realize that Shinobu is enough for her, and that Rihito-sama can never be hers again. :P

OMG this ep made me go into tears <.< *sniff**sniff* Kento is soo Sweet!! and darn i hate Lucia despite her looks she is such a b!tch <.< i cant wait for the next ep XD omg FIGHTO Rihto-sama!!!!!!

He pretty much told her he loves her (well not really but he made it clear enough) in this episode and she still decided to leave, so what else he could do?
And there are still 4 episodes to go so they have to keep the tension high:P

Thanks for the sub tip! xD So I wasn't crazy - even Rihito realizes he has been failing. Aw, it's alright though - he's done what he could given his confusing emotions. [And yeah - I gathered he told her without fully saying it <3 But what's she supposed to do with that anyways? Actions; he needs to act... I bet the next bunch of episodes will be epic!]

As much as I really really want to watch this drama when it's half-subbed, I think I can wait for a few more hours. Gah. So she DID leave? My assumptions were correct then.

4 more episodes to go. It's going to be crazy from here on. Fight for her, Rihito-sama!
