Japanese dramas usually last for only 10 or 11 episodes. This is no different. Even if I do pray that there will be Season 2 for this (like HYD), I don't think they will. Maybe a special episode?

I don't read the manga so I don't know the span of the storyline.

I do agree that Mameshiba may be a better butler [even if he's clumsy] but Mei doesn't need a butler ;D She can take care of herself. She does need a partner though ;P

Somehow i feel sorry for Rihito, but its his fault anyway.

@ BlackIce: I don't think it's a money problem. But it's just that I don't see a lot of japanese or asian dramas having a second season, unlike american ones.. which last forever (not a problem though if the story is good and the actors are.. ehem, good-looking)

Oh shoot, I was browsing through the episode summaries/trailers for episode 8 on the official website, and I read that .. Rihito-sama has no choice but to serve Lucia because she is the heir to the Hongo family, and the Shibata family have sworn to serve them.

Since Kento also quit being a butler, Rihito is the only one left.

He should just quit being a butler to be with Mei. Or Mei should just go back to the academy and beat Lucia so she can be the rightful heir to the Hongo family (why the grandpa has not met up with her up to this point is beyond me).


Gah, the rest of the translated text is gibberish to me. So.. I'll be waiting for the episode tonight. Videos without subs are better than words in the foreign language (which could have multiple meanings, agh).
