Actually I was a bit disappointed in how easy Soshi let her go when Naito came back and said he wanted to be with Riiko. Made me feel he didn't deserve to be with her at the end. And how can they have a good relationship when Riiko became insecure the minute Naito popped up again? It must torment Soshi's mind for ever. How can he keep up his confidence when he clearly would have lost to a robot if circumstances were different? Maybe this is why Soshi seemed so laid back about it - he just knew it wouldn't work out and she'd come back to him eventually... (Perhaps I shouldn't put all that much thought into it - *Lree, it is not for real, just a tv drama* )

[QUOTE=LunarPhoenix;2046069 To me, that demonstrated the opposite: true selfless love. Soshi loved Riiko enough to want her to be happy -- even if that meant not being with him. [/QUOTE] Does NOT happen in real life though!!! |

We know he couldn't grow old or have children. That was already established at the end of the series. Why rehash that? Useless SP. But I think the first few minutes where Night got back his old memory was soo touching. Damn Namiya had to kidnap him in the middle of their reunion. Also when in the series did Riiko and Night go to the onsen? I remember in the flashbacks they showed a scene like that. I would have been so stoked if the SP were scenes like that they cut from the series. Epilogues are nice only when some thing actually happens to warrant one. Geez.. I still don't feel any chemistry between Soushi and Riiko even after the SP. Oh fun fact though, Soushi and the lady who sings the Absolute Boyfriend theme are getting married in real life! |

I know, I first saw it right after I joined, well registered. I watched stuff on here for a bit before I joined with an actual handle. I might rewatch it again. Talking about it here has given me the itch! They dont make this stuff in America. Well That's not true, they do. it's just that Hollywood is so fixated on CGI right now. But I think they're beginning to move away from that and go back to actual talent and acting. I hate some of the younger gen actors that are out there here and in England. I think they act stupid in real life when they know that reporters are monkeys in trees waiting for them to bend over without panties or shop lift, or even pass out in a friends car outside a nightclub. Im not real convinced many of them are that well educated either. lol. Take Britney, Miley, Zach, Lindsay.....these people act dumber than doornails. And I hope I dont tick off a fan, but they cant act....AT ALL. I got so disenchanted with today's actors, that most of my favorites are old or foreign. like Morgan Freeman, Maggie Smith, the Redgraves, Japanese actors, Meryl Streep, etc. |
