yeah this drama makes you think what could really drive one kid to kill another..

also, i felt so sad and sorry for the parents (the mothers especially). it must be absolutely devastating to lose a child, especially at that age. and to even begin to understand why your son could commit such a crime.

still, how a person grows and how he becomes what he is now depends on many things, you can't just blame it all on parents, but at the same time you can't say that they have nothing to do with that. there's just so many factors.

this episode made me think how our actions affect other people around us. how one thing you do can make a huge difference in a life of another person.

i like this show. thanks for subbing it. =)

Rofl, i do agree with s Jidai. The main reason why im watching this drama is to find out why Tomoya would do that.

Thumbs up Re: Aishiteru Episode 1

Excellent drama & excellent subbing too!...Keep it up and arigato!

BTW, I'm British and this drama made me cry because it reminds me of a very sad murder case which happened here in the UK about 10 years ago, involving two junior school boys who killed a pre-school little boy. It's terrible to know that a similar tragedy has also happened in Japan, so sad.

I found it quite strange that I kinda did agree with the dad of the killer son... At first, what he said sounded so off from that place, that they shouldn't have given birth for him in the first place but...

When I thought about it bit more.. It was absolutely true what he said.. Families that don't have time to properly raise their kids and rather just stay as workaholics.. Shouldn't have kids in the first place.. Atleast the mother had tried, but clearly didn't give enought time for her son when he was younger.
