yay! finally watched it! thx for subbing, DC team!:* anyway, i don't fully agree with Afan. Perhaps Shinzo is alive indeed, i also thought that he might have just hidden himself somewhere to watch the family unite. BUT. it would be impossible for them to live as a family with Chisato as Shinzo's wife and the sons' stepmother. First of all, she married Shinzo not only for the money but also bcuz he told her that after a while he'll die anyway. i doubt she would marry him if he wasn't supposed to die (cruel as it sounds...), even if she was offered the money to pay off her father's debts. i think Shinzo is too clever and intelligent to believe that such a young girl would be able to love him as a man (bcuz i think Chisato treated Shinzo more as a father). Secondly, love is in the air and no one can deny that. Perhaps Chisato is put to the test indeed but not in the terms of her faithfullness (Shinzo is believed to be dead after all, isn't he?) but in the terms of morality (during these 3 months Chisato's supossed to be the mother and starting the relationship with any of the sons would be somewhat improper... still, these 3 months will end some day, right?:>) Thirdly, if Shinzo wanted his wife to unite his sons and then to live happily with them and Shinzo himself (assuming that he's rly still alive), he would rather pick an older woman to become his wife. Sorry for such a long post but i just truly believe that 1) Shinzo's still alive, 2) 10 mother's goals will be fulfilled and Chisato will be able to pay off her father's debts, 3) after these 3 months are over, Chisato will be able to face herself and will start a relationship with the one she's developed feelings for (and yes, i mean Sho;d) without any obstacles, 4) they will stay in the house together, including all the brothers, Shinzo as the father and Chisato as his daughter-in-law what a nice ending would it be, right? I dont think Shinzo is alive. In the first episode already she scattered his ashes from the blimp in the sky. Unless he jumped out of the coffin before it went into the funeral pyre, I dont think he is alive. For non drama-land purposes, I believe the death certificate needs a doctor's acknowledgement. However, in drama-land, anything can happen, including jumping out of the coffin, etc.etc |

Thank you subbing team for all your hard work. I love this episode because of all the elements involved. 1. Sho kissing Chrisato...(don't we all love that cliffie?) 2. Seeing the guys in their towels and in Football jersies! 3. Fuu acting like an older brother. 4. Sho feeling bummed because Chrisato started ignoring him after the kiss. Starts trailing her. He couldn't keep his eyes off her. 5. My boy Masaru seems to have noticed the Sho/Chrisato chemistry...he stopped Satoru from following Chrisato when she went after Takeru. 6. Takeru leaving but he knows things will be alright. The brothers before Chrisato came didn't really care what happen to the others, it shows how her being with them has affected them all. I wonder why the old man made it a point to adopt boys when a girl would have straightened them all out... Why marry Chrisato instead of adopting her? Could it be because he had only a month to live and a wife would have more authority in his household then another sibling? I think the father is long dead but he planned everything before hand, he wanted his family to be a family in every sense. To feel joy and pain. I love this series! |

you got a point here^^ still, we cannot be sure (and can anybody, including the family, be sure?) if it was Shinzo's ashes that were scattered in the sky. i mean, Shinzo has always surrounded himself with a lot of trusted co-workers, he might have just asked somebody to put some powder into the dish where the ashes are usually put after one's death so that Chisato would believe that he rly died. but yeah, i might be exaggerating;d | |
