What japanese movies are your all time favourites and why?? I havent yet seen Be With You(Ima ni something) but I really want to and I'm almost convinced it'll be my favourite since I fall easily for drama/love stories..

So in your opinion?

and sorry if this has already been posted could somebody just show me where or whatever?

Taiyou no Uta it is really good and my faovrite Japanese singer plays the main character

the best movie i like was Persioner idk the Resion but it was really great for me ! lol

I think I'll separate by genres...
1.Action-Crows Zero. Whoever haven't seen that movie, do so. This movie was plainly awesome. The OST was incredible and Shun Oguri is starring the main role. You are gonna be totally surprised by his act...
2.Psychological (horror?)-Battle Royale. I watched this movie in 2003. I was so shocked by the idea, so terrified by what I've seen, I couldn't sleep at night and I just kept thinking over and over again what human life is and how precious it is. If you haven't seen it I totally recommend it but I have to say it's not suitable for minors.
3.Slice of life-Nobody Knows. This is a true story about a mother that leaves her children behind to survive on their own. It's a really sad movie with a very good cast and scenery.
4. Drama... I have a problem here. I don't have only one favorite so I'll try to point out my favorites. Crying out love at the center of the world/Say hello for me/Nada Sou Sou/Koizora/Boku wa Imouto ni Koi Suru/Tada Kimi wo Aishiteru were some of my favorites. Very strong emotions overflowed while watching them. And yes... I kept crying during those movies...
5. Romance... Hmmm... Another difficult one...Sugar and Spice/About love/Hana and Alice(this was heartbreaking).. I officially blacked out and I'm sure I forgot something...

By the way we are only talking about movies right? Cause I think Be with you is a series... Is there a movie as well?? If yes, why haven't I seen it yet??

Yeah, I really can't wait!!! Sooner or later it will be out. I have a feeling we will watch it before summer!!! I'm so thrilled... Genji is one of my favorite characters EVER!! And Shun Oguri is too hot *nosebleed*

Don't know many live action japanese movies. Though my all time favorite movie is Apollo 13 you just can' beat it.

I can't help but show off this baby and this is raw movie footage un altered minus the cuts, un wavering, and pure awesomeness. Yes this was before they altered trailers like crazy.

Now on to the subject. Probably out of what I've seen it would have to be the live action death note.
