I like all Yamapi's characters too.
So I'm kinda like this drama...the story itself is a little bit real and I think this kind of love never end in happy ending way.
And I think it will be fine if you watch Sore wa Totsuzen Arashi no you ni.

When you talk Yamapi dramas are you talking his roles in them or the dramas themselves. Cuz some like Dragon Zakura, Stand Up!, Nobuta wo Produce were great dramas that probably would of been pretty good without him as he wasn't the main role. Where as Kurosagi, Buzzer Beat, Proposal Daisakusen and such were dramas he starred in thus you couldn't see anyone else playing his role. I'll go strictly by his performance in my list and how good they were because of him, not that number 1 is better, but his performance was top notch in them.

1. Proposal Daisakusen
2. Kurosagi
3. Nobuta wo Produce
4. Buzzer Beat
5. Code Blue

Na..Mitsunari, i agree with you that we should look at his role in the drama and not the drama itself. Anyway, most of his drama are good and famous.

When, i look at the 1st page of this thread, i was so surprised when i cant see the Buzzer Beat in the list or anyone suggesting it in a few page later. Therefore, i started wondering what is happening here when i accidentally look at the date & OMG it is an old thread started last year...Huh, that's explained everything. So, i just skipped everything and jump to this page.

Well, it looks more reasonable now. Your list seem to match mine but slightly with different order. Unfortunately, i watch Kurosagi (only the film)-but i like his character here and never watch Code Blue-i'm clueless about this.
1. Nobuta wo Produce - i like Akira very very much.
2. Proposal Daisakusen - i like him only in the SP.
3. Buzzer Beat - i dont like his hair style here...it's weird but it manage to give him a 'naive' look.
4. Lunch no Joou
5. what else......

Anyway, moral of stories here is always check the date of the thread post before you jump to any conclusion or straight jump to the last page of the thread. Hehe...

The Kurosagi movie was okay but not that good IMO. The drama however is very good and worth watching. Horitaka Maki only plays a small role in the movie where as in the drama she's very much part of the story.

i pretty much have only seen his recent ones, but here's my list:

1. Proposal Daisakusen
i like this drama the best cuz i haven't seen a drama like it before. a man goes back in time in order to stop the girl he's in love with from getting married to another man~ i find his character dumb, but sweet and i find masami nagasawa's character very cute and likable. it's good there's a special too or else i would've been mad. i don't think this is a typical love drama... well, IMO.....

2. Dragon Zakura
i like that this ISN'T a typical school drama. i hate typical school dramas. this one, you can ACTUALLY learn from! all of the learning techniques and the motivation. lols i felt that i should do better in school after watching this! but then i didn't and got lazy XD i love yamapi x masami pair, even though she wasn't his girlfriend in this one.

3. Nobuta wo Produce
no one can compare to yamapi as being akira. he's so funny and carefree~ i love his character. i laughed numerous times cuz of him.

4. Kurosagi
i personally love psychological thrillers. is this considered that? with all of his plots of conning others? well, whatever. i love the psychology behind all of his schemes. it's funny, yet brilliant!

5. Code Blue
why do i like code blue? i don't know for sure. i just do. i like it better than Buzzer Beat for sure though cuz Buzzer Beat just seems like all other dramas (very american too). maybe cuz it has to do with medical stuff and i'm fascinated with the human body... but then again, there wasn't that much about that stuff too XD
