HYD vs BOF

hello....just passing by....and giving a comment

i much liked HYD why?story wise and character wise. don't you think that this concept is reapeating itself?BOF is nice too.but i like doumyouji tsukasa and makino...and especially hanazawa rui a.k.a. shun oguri on of my favorite jap actors*_*

And that's way cool that Akira is deeper than they show. Makes me like him more.

I am also waiting for the Mainland version since they made
a Tawian version that totally established this series as
the IT story. It's cool that the mainland cast is so young
and inexperienced like the F4 of Korea. Personally I didn't
like that the Korean Makino is older and very comic. I love
the Japanese Makino and the Taiwanese Makino, they had
so much dignity and pride, you look at them with admiration
and respect.

Akira will always be my # 1 F4.

I finally watched some of the Taiwanese version of this show. I'll just say I'll be interested to see the mainland version as well. It's a story I don't get tired of :P

I prefer hana yori dango much more. i couldn't get past the first episode of BoF, because i just couldn't stand the actress they got to play makino, she just seemed too old, and I couldn't get past it. I thought the guys were very good looking though, but i'm a shun person myself, actually i completely love F4 in HYD. also, forest, i love the new addition to your signature, alas, thats why your the alpha.

I prefer HYD... mainly because I didn't watch BOF :P

But comparing to TW cast, I like HYD more because the whole cast feel more right. Inoue's Makino fits into the character better and the whole cast feels more involved.

Though I prefer Vic Zhou as Hanasawa Rui, not because I don't like Oguri, but prolly because I watched TW version first and I liked his Image. Thought Oguri was less Ouji-sama feel. ^o^;

I find it bizarre that Mainland China is doing it.. it's a story that has 3 versions already, with high standards too. The mainland china F4 doesn't really appeal to me :3

I hadn't heard that they were going to do a version as well, but i don't really watch that many MCS. I've only watched the Prince of Tennis drama.

I don't watch Mainland China shows either but since it's Hana Yori Dango.
I have to watch it just to see how they would portray Makino.

The reason I enjoyed BOF was the random ways they would reference HYD. Like...the rui character had a horse named Rui... stuff like that. Makes me wonder if they'll do anything like that in the mainland China one :P
