Did anyone watch it? It's about a game show and you're suppose to trick your opponent to win the money. If you lose, you'll be in dept for the rest of your life. The main character is an idiotic honest girl(Erika Toda, I love her) and she was chosen to play it. She was too honest so you almost lost the first round. But she didn't because she got help from a swindle master that just got out of the jail(the male main character, he is very smart). So what is going to happen? Will the idiotic honest girl win the game or lose into a life-time dept? While you're watching it, can you guess their plan? What are they trying to do? I really enjoy this drama(it was actually from a manga). When I was watching it, I keep pausing and think about their plan and see if I can counter it or if I was just way off and fell into their trap. I want to play a game like this in real life or on the internet but not with real money. I think I can make a game like it. I have made other games before. How did I found this drama? Well it chose me 2 times, actually. I love DeathNote and I was trying to find something like that and I found Liar Game but I wasn't interested. Later on, I watched Producing Nobuta(something like that) and I love one of the character. She is so cute and she look so innocent. When she cry, she made me want to cry, too. But her part of the movie isn't big so I search more for Erika Toda and again....I found Liar Game, so I gave it a try and I couldn't stop watching it and love the whole drama. Sincerely, Rithy |

Both seasons and the movie were amazing. The plot, the twists and turn, the music, suspense, everything about it kept me on my toes and wanting more! It's definitely one of my favourites of the psychological thriller genre and a must watch for all psycho fans .On top of that the acting was pulled off remarkably. Matsuda Shota (Akiyama kun) and Toda Erika (Kanzaki Nao) acted their parts perfectly. The villains really absorbed their roles superbly too to the point where they really annoy you. I really disliked Fukunaga (Suzuki Kosuke), although came to like him after and Katsuragi Ryo (Kikuchi Rinko) was very annoying but I commend her for her acting. My favorite has to be Yokoya (Suzuki Kazuma) . It's funny how they made him the complete opposite to how his appearance is in the manga where he's dressed all in black with black hair but in the drama he's all white <:O.Overall, I'd give it a 10/10.

I'm still stuck at season 2. I love the story and Matsuda Shota as Akiyama - but I can't stand those annoying side characters anymore. xD Please tell me there'll be some change in the "opponent thinks he has won - explains his methods just before the result is announced, crazy laughter included, and then turns out to have been tricked by Akiyama/Nao/Fukunaga again"-pattern.^^° I watched up to episode 4 so far, and I really want to continue because the story is so awesome and I like the main characters as well, but I just can't bring myself to pick it up again. v__v |
