what is the saddest drama u watched?

some Korean movie in the theaters that is still in the theaters after 4 months or so i was amazed its about a group of people that do the ski jumping thing its pretty sad

1 litre of tears...i don't really remember it that well anymore..it's been years since last saw it..but i remember i was crying like in every single episode...

it is definitely the saddest movie i have watched

yui is rele great in this movie

I watched the drama before the movie so it didn't really do it for me. I admit the movie was better for Taiyou no uta then the 1 Liter of Tears movie was. But dramas like that you can't condense into 1 movie, it takes time and it builds up your attachment to the characters. Speed that up and there isn't much build up to go with.

the movie came out first though
and it was meant as a movie
they later on made it into a drama
i think it was better as the movie
also because i think YUI is amazing
the role was partly based off of her life
the drama just wasnt as good because it wasnt as strong of a feeling
the songs for the movie were written and composed by YUI
sawajiri erika just cant beat the fact that the role itself was actually made for YUI

Like I said I watched the drama first so when I watched the movie it just wasn't the same. But when I look at both objectively as far as story goes I say the drama was better then the movie in the cast of characters really went well with it. You got a chance to bond with more of the characters then the movie which was based more about the two main characters. Plus I prefer the songs by Erika more then Yui, when I first heard Goodbye Days I thought it was a rather odd song, didn't flow together that well. It grew on me after a few listens but the Taiyou no uta song and Stay With Me flowed together perfectly with the drama IMO.

Erika + Yamada > Yui + Takashi

well to tell the truth i havent found the sadist one yet and wouldnt mind suggestions but.. i've been watching ninkyo helper and some of it is really sad.
