You realize that they would probably end up ****ing it up, right? It wouldn't be as good as the original. The only way I would be down for a remake is if everything was kept the same, like the dialog, and they just replace it with voice acting and updated graphics. They wouldn't though, that's the problem. lol

that's true. But hey, I still have the ps1 original (subject to my ps2 working..)^^ When they did the snes -> ps1 and the ff3 to ds remakes, did they change much?

One thing I fear about voice acting is the choice of voices (esp eng versions..) Cloud with Tidus's voice? yuck.

i'm sure that for the most part it would be the same, with better graphics, voices (which they already have some decent vocies for) and a few extra side quests. don't know how they would keep cid's diolog the same without beeping it out or turning the remake into a m rated game

Those were ports, not remakes; two completely different things. And they did change the names of some things in a few of the ports.
