If you're into Japanese history, preferably the Meiji Era, the "Shinsengumi" is an ideal drama.

It has everything from politics, intrigue, comedy, treachery and betrayal. The characters are very appealing and the storyline is not only true, but highly entertaining.

Give it a shot (not literally)!

MR.BRAIN is TOTALLY COOL!
Love Game and Liar Game is kinda good...
The Quiz Show 1 & 2 is pretty good too..

Absolute Boyfriend was so different from manga. But I still liked it... (even though it make me cry and she made me very mad!).

I cried too =D.....but I read it, so I am guessing that watching was no good?

BOSS is pretty good, you might want to give that a try. If you're never sure of a drama series you can always check the dramawiki to see the ratings in Japan. You never know what shows you might end up liking.
