exactly I was also sleeping.
I wished people would have told us before...so we could save some things before they disappeared in the void of this super thread....
or maybe had a say...as we are actually the people who keep these sections alive.

I can understand some merging...but some threads like hilarious pics is in my eyes clearly a separate topic with captions/funny macros and it was not restricted to Japanese and actors to make it precise.
Those separate topics made it easier to chat on a specific topic, the Hiro thread was actually the chat thread of the dorama section....whereas now all is merged and I am just confused and frustrated about this act.
Instead of merging, I would have locked duplicate threads... less confusion.

and well if you go and check the Lounge section of AC then there are also loads of topics of similar content and redundant stuff.

ahh well...I am disappointed how things were done behind our backs.

Sometimes it is better to consider crowd dynamics as well. And as I see it, threads were created bc people felt the need of them..unlike duplicate threads.
We would have controlled ourselves at some point.

I agree with you, locking threads would probably be easier and less confusing to everyone. Afterall, some threads weren't really related.
But they probably did it this way so we [I don't talk as much as you guys do but, can i include myself? ] wouldn't be mad at them for closing threads?
I don't know, that's just me guessing.

I think the Lounge section of AC is supposed to have pointless threads.
We should have one of those here too

if someone gets mad at us, stating in a civil way our opinions than I am even more disappointed.

Like everywhere else ...if one change something one should also expect some rant.

I know the Lounge section is meant to be like that...but since we don`t have something like that in here, for Dorama....people created such threads.
I can understand that.
I would be intimidated to start a "It`s raining men" thread at the Lounge section myself. Here we have a smaller circle. And I agree we need something like the Lounge for the Drama section.


I just hope I don`t sound like someone up all her arse.
And I am not angry about the cleaning..I am just disappointed how things were done.

Ok, some need this explained since some was not on before. Your opinions matter so I am happy to see you expressing them! Dark found the drama center a mess of threads that were either off topic and talking about male and female actors or just talking about one certain actor.

I became mod to moderate one thread in particular, the Hiro thread. In the lounge area you may make these kinds of threads without worry. However, here most of the time you may have three or four pages of Shun or Hiro and then everyone goes off into space about everything else but what the thread was started for.

There is a chat lounge for that and I encourage you guys to use that. There you can name the threads anything you want and talk about whatever you want. But if you have a thread named Hiro or Mei Chan here then that's what the thread needs to be about.

With the title of this thread it covers everything and you're free to talk about what ever actor or actress you want.

Oh....and dont shoot the messenger


NOTE to F6 (For those who dont understand that, no worries it's not for you anyway. LOL)

I will create another thread in the lounge for us. more than one of you have expressed that you miss the title and that you have problems finding your conversations.
