Wow wow! I've been a huge fan of Takaya Natsuki since I read Fruits Basket.. I was crying like an idiot while reading it...Is the manga you are talking about Hoshi wa Utau? Cause it's from the same author and it's awesome. I really think it reaches the perfection of Fruits Basket..

Dear acid... I've watched Nana movies twice each. Everytime Takumi (Tamayama) opens the door for Hachi (at the end of the 1rst movie it's this scene I think) I sigh and watch it again and again and again and again.. Personally I think he is super hot and handsome... What more can I say?? Aww.. that scene... *faints*

yeah..I also thought that would be rather cool to come home and find him there...
I just watched them yesterday...and was slightly suprised of the change of cast for the 2nd movie.

Yeah me 2. I didn't like lot Hachi and Ren in the second movie to be honest. Did you notice that in the first movie Shin is played by Matsuyama Kenishi? In the second movie the cast changes and Shin is played by another guy. although I really like Matsuyama, I think the second guy suited Shin better. He reminded me more of the manga character.

^Yes..I didn`t like the new Hachi and Ren also...both seemed less exciting. They suddenly looked so average! I mean Hachi didn`t look as kawaii and as naive as the former Hachi and Ren was also meh...
And how thin is Nana??? I was sort of worried all the time...so thin , yet so strong...she looked really good in this red dress in the first part.
Anyways.... I don`t know the Manga , but yeah I recognised Matsuyama...the other shin was like half of him..so much thinner and also younger?lol...I like matsuyama...he has a very interesting appearance *feels suddenly the urge to watch death note*

Hehe... Yeah second Hachi and Ren were too average. Second Hachi didn't give me that feeling like "awww I wanna hug her" and second Ren was far from "I wanna stalk him". You really should read the manga... Especially the late chapters are really sad. About Shin... Imagine that in the manga he is supposed to be a 15 year old youth that ran from his home and works as a gigolo. Matsuyama doesn't fit that role. I mean... He is perefect but hey... you can never believe he is 15!! I think L's role will always follow him..
I also noticed how thin Nana was, but she had to be that way cause after the original characters are like that...

Well i might check out on that Manga. But it will be like my first Manga...I read lots of comics but never Manga before...so is it a good start? Lol..I will be shocked? In what way? And how many voulumes does the manga have?

I didn't like the new Hachiko either, but I thought Shin in Nana 2 was more right compared to the manga. I didn't mind any of the changes really just as long as they kept Tamayama. I think he was the first japanese guy I "discovered", but I have never seen him being very popular in other forums. Have you seen "prisoner"? Only seen 2 episodes of it myself, but he's a bit rugged in that one.

I also like Nagase Tomoya. I think he is very "man" compared to many other japanese idols, but then again he is a little bit older. (31 I believe, just perfect for me, hehe). I saw him in My boss, my hero and Tiger & Dragon. Both very funny, especially T&D. He has a sexy voice (think it's because he is a heavy smoker though)

No it's called Phantom Dream, Volume 1. It's new and I loved it. It's a little similar to FB, but it takes on a different twist. The first volume alone could act as a stand alone graphic novel. But I know this author, there will be more. So it will be interesting to see where he takes it because the ending was pretty final sounding. I dont want to ruin it for you because it's really good and I recommend it highly!
