Haha ~ Yeah apprently there's lots of places called richmond. I think of my richmond as "Rich" & "Mond" ~~ There are so many rich people here it's scary >< Chinese people who buy a car with cash without hesitating

There are TONS of Asian Restaurants here! I'm surprised because it's redneck-ville not far from my town. A lot of old boy networks who can be nasty to "outsiders." I hate that. But where I live, just a few miles away from that is large population of Asians. Namely Vietnamese who have the monopoly on Nail Tech salons and then Chinese a close second who dominate the Asian food business here. We don't have a lot of Japanese restaurants

It's pronouced the same way too! There are two sides to my Richmond. One is the very rich, like you said cars with cash. And then there is a very bad gang ridden side that is mostly minorities. The few times I have been to this Richmond, I got lost once in teh bad part...oooo. But not very long and my boyfriend with was me, so it wasnt like we were alone. We found our way back easily. Everyone was nice there too, so we didnt have all the horror stories we heard from other people happen to us.

hmmm ~~ ICIC ~ Thank goodness ~~~ Our Richmond developed rapidly mostly because of the fact that the International Airport is near by ~

But with the increasing number of immigrants we've had a soar in gang problems with the East Indians, the Chinese, the Vietnamense etc.

Just a few month ago, Greater Vancouver had become one of the most dangerous places in the world because of it's gang realated deaths almost everyday ~ It has since slightly died down since I've been back from Europe.

I think the seedy part now is the Chinatown in Downtown. It's scary ~ I refuse to go ~~~ So much drug addicts and stuff. >< KOWAII YO ~

You're right, I hear from the Chinese that run Red Palace here that the Japanese Restaurants arn't 100% Japanese. That you can tell by the menu because they know that Americans wont have the tastes for some of the dishes that come from Japan. *sniff*

Actually they have a point. I watched Gackt's Platinum box IX which about eating mostly...lol. And I saw them eat stuff I had never seen, ate or heard of before

It's towards the middle to the end they went to the other place toe at...man these guys can eat!

Not that you would be able to tell by looking at cha or gackt. I think they eat like once a year and this was it....lol You may have deal with some loading up slow problems.

Sake is playing hookie today. I had training but I didnt feel real great when I woke up, so I skipped out. Bad me! Working on my resume again because I was given some pointers about some common mistakes I made on it. *sigh*
