Default Any Japanese Drama for older audience/mature audience?

Hi,
I'm looking for Japanese Dramas for an older age range of audience/mature audience with romance/ or hints of romance. Something a little similar to Cupid no Itazura. I'm kind of tired of teen J drama. Thanks.

Thumbs up Re: Any Japanese Drama for older audience/mature audience?

I've recently got hooked on "Orthros no Inu".

It's an excellent police drama dealing with 2 men with extraordinary powers.

This series (I hear) is one of the most popular in Japan right now. It's full of suspense and allows you a glimpse of how far people will go to get what they want.

Enjoy!

Sleepingthrough I'm a kid I don't watch old people's shows cos they are b-o-r-i-n-g. Lols joking! Um I found Around 40 and Aishiteru quite interesting. But I don't know if you may like them.

Don't get me wrong. I like J dramas but at times I want something different or new. I'm looking for like kind of mature romance drama where they're not modest about their first kiss or something. Something similar to jotei or no cupid itazura. Thanks

While waiting for my other drama to update, I ran acrosss a a series called, "Boss".

This drama is about a 40 year old woman trying to become the first lead female detective in a crime unit. She is given the worst recruits to work with because everyone wants her to fail. She is also teamed with a group of underachieving misfits and has to make the best of it. I've only watched the first episode, but its extremely humorous and I find myself rooting for this group to get their act together. As I am a "champion of the underdog", I really want to see them become top-notch detectives and prove everyone wrong.

Give it a try!!
