tokyo dogs is a drama starring oguri shun, mizushima hiro, and yoshitaka yuriko

Takakura So witnessed his father's murder at a young age. Pledging to catch the killer, he grows up to become an elite cop in New York City, where the criminal lives. His character is cool-headed and disciplined, yet adapts well. Because of major drug dealings, he gets sent to Tokyo to conduct a joint investigation with the Japanese police. There, he gets teamed up with, Kudo Maruo, a detective from a special investigative division. Kudo is a hot-blooded fighting expert due to his earlier days as a delinquent, but he makes a strong impression with his stylish appearance and is always interested in going on group dates. His personality, interests, and investigation methods are completely mismatched with Takakura's, but the two somehow work together to crack the case they've been given. --Tokyograph

Theme song is pretty good, especially the video of it suits this drama. I'm starting to like the drama, I thought it was a little too corny and such but Oguri Shun is usually part of some pretty unique and interesting stories so I gave it a chance. There are not many good JDramas lately so I find myself watching some old ones that I've missed but I do keep up on this one. I wonder who the memory loss chick will fall for in the end

I try to not let the cast of a movie blind my judging of it though. Just cuz a drama has a lot of great actors doesn't always mean it will be great. But I do give it the benefit of the doubt. In this drama the only problems I have is the dialogue is a little too cheezy and the gun fight scenes look beyond fake. I seen more believable fun fights in Joshi Deka lol. What I do like is the overall story premise, it's a bit unique in that aspect. 3 main aspects, usually in one drama all combined. You got the kid witnessing his father's death and then following in his footsteps to avenge him. Then the girl who gets amnesia and her struggles to recover it. Then the 2 conflicting personalities always butting heads but ultimately working out well together. 3 different parts, all in one, adds for a nice story of possible plot twists and upcoming anticipation.

i say its pretty good i like it they make smexy detectives but besides that the story so far has me watching it

as you already know koi, me and pinky are totally in love with this drama. funny shun for the win! and it's great how they solve a case each ep, but still have the big case looming in the background, which ties it together well, different from other dramas bc i think they can get boring if it's just a new case each ep.

well I started watchin this kinda because of Shun-chan and he and Hiro make a good couple...erhmm..meanin police partners^^
I love the humor and how those two are always arguing with each other..always makes me giggle
the story is interestin not really that original but still lovin it. the fight scenes are pretty hilarious and not that believable...but after wathin 4 ep it's still keepin me entertained and interested...let's see wuts gonna happen next^^
heh and i luv tanakura's mom..always havin a big crisis at home xD

you should watch the episode of domoto kyoudai they were on to promote tokyo dogs
i think shun said he'd date hiro >_<
