Japanese Drama of the Week?

Wouldn't it be cool if we started a jdrama of the week sorta thing? Anyone interested? Anyone know how to decide lol.

Japanese Drama of the week? What would be the purpose of such a thing?

Getting people to watch a drama that you really really liked but not many people have watched? For example Bara no Nai Hanaya was a drama I really love but you don't hear much about.

Isn't it the same like a recommendation thread then? How exactly do you have in your mind that this should work? Like make a list and then people pick?

Like have people suggest certain drama's that week. Then have people vote. The one which gets picked is put up on the quick announcement section of DC with a picture and the title of like DramaCrazy's Jdrama of the week #1. Something along those lines.

Well I'm not sure how its going to work but i liked to see those dramas i love that don't even make the top rating. I want people to give other dramas a chance and not just by reading the synopsis. You know what i mean?

BUT again this doesn't make it any different than the recommendations thread, only it will be put up to be watched O_O also just because it si going to be there it does not mean that people will watch it -nods- plus who tells you that someone won't pick to put up a recent drama and what not? This drama of the week thing, you cannot really control it, if you want to make something like that , then it is best if people do not vote and you just take the whole japanese drama list alphabetically, and each week have up on the main page the link with the "drama of the week" and it doesn't necessarily have to be 1 drama but 2 or 3?

Also, if this is not clicky enough then , you could make a board in the japanese drama section for people to post up a drama of the "supposedly old" ones that they liked and want to suggest for people to watch and they put up a more detailed synopsis without spoilers and what they believed about it -nods-

I dunno , but this doesn't seem to me like it will make much difference.
