[Discussion] Hana Kimi 2011

I haven't read the manga so I'm going to have to take the word of everyone that its more like the manga. I've only seen the first episode and its not bad. One thing I miss is the over the top craziness that I fell in love in the original. This one feels toned down to me but its still good in its own way. I love how it has two guys from Tumbling and "Oscar" is still played by a former Senta. Overall the show is good but I just love the original more.

and tomo and shohei are soooo much more love <3
not to mention acting-wise, nakamura aoi's sano IS WAYYYY BETTER than oguri shun's was.
also the characters are portrayed much better.

True! Just like I mentioned before: Hana Kimi 2011 is way more like the original manga! (Although I think, that Hana Kimi 2007 is a bit funnier.)

I loooove Ikuta Toma (and also as Nakatsu). Yamamoto Yusuke is also one of my favorite actors. But Tomo (TOMO! I don't need to comment on, right?) and Shohei are really sooo lovely together <3 They're in love, that's for sure!

I actually enjoyed watching this one for the differences it had to the original one. I liked the fact that the story could take different detours. You know, like those "choose an ending" type books, except in this one, the guy definitely gets the girl!

I loved the 2007 Hana Kimi. Even more I loved Taiwanese version (tho the ending was worse).

This one had the best ending and the story was different than earlier versions. 2007 j-version had better OST and the cast in 2011 and 2007 versions are both equally good. In 2011 version the main girl wasn't as manly (by voice) than earlier versions so that's a tiny minus.

You're right! I watched the last two episodes a while ago and I'm totally hooked on the ending! It really was cool, better than the other! And both casts were pretty awesome. 2007 - Yamamoto Yusuke, Daito Shunsuke, Ikuta Toma and Kimura Ryo. 2011 - Yanagishita Tomo (I soooo watched this because of him xDDD), Miura Shohei (although I think that Toma was a bit better)... Nishii Yukito was quite cute, too! (:

HANA KIMI TAIWAN WAS EPIC <3
but that involves my bias towards Jiro Wang, Danson Tang, R.Chord (yessss <3), and Wu Zun~

but Hana Kimi 2011 was my favorite <3
and once again, i am heavily biased.
i love Acchan, so that was a SUPER PLUS for me~
and then Tomo, Shohei, Yukki, Renn, Suzuki Katsuhiro, Tokuhide, Matsushima Shota, Mamiya Shotaro, Maeda Gouki, Horii, etc.
and the GREATNESS THAT IS SAITO TAKUMI.

Tomo, Shohei and Tokuyama Hidenori are the reasons I love this remake. Its a fun remake. Its not the same as the 2007 but its still fun to watch.

So I just finished it. I loved it. It wasn't better than the original but I still really enjoyed it. It was funny, made me cry and I thought the ending was cuter. I had been worried that we weren't going to be seeing the Sakura Committee but luckily we did, even if it was once.
