this is the thread for discussion of actual episodes of Hana Kimi Remake / Hana Kimi 2011.  This drama is a remake of the popular school drama Hanazakari no Kimitachi e that was aired on Fuji TV in 2007. main cast: Maeda Atsuko as Ashiya Mizuki Nakamura Aoi as Sano Izumi Miura Shohei as Nakatsu Shuichi Kiriyama Renn as Nanba Minami Yanagishita Tomo as Kayashima Taiki Yamada Shintaro as Sekime Kyogo Nishii Yukito (西井幸人) as Senri Nakao Suzuki Katsuhiro (鈴木勝大) as Noe Shinji Saito Takumi (斎藤工) Matsushima Shota (松島庄汰) Mamiya Shotaro (間宮祥太朗) Kurihara Goro (栗原吾郎) Sato Tomohito (佐藤智仁) A/N: added takumix (saito takumi) myself. he's the doctor *you can read my fangirling in the post below* also OHMYGAWD sato tomohito <3 ITS GATACK <3333333 (from kamen rider kabuto) seriously, hana kimi is like return of the kabuto actors~ the original had kabuto (mizushima hiro) and sasword (yamamoto yusuke) but this one has punch hopper (tokuyama hidenori) and gatack (sato tomohito)~

my commentary for episode one: *its being added to as i continue the episode and spoiler is more so because its rele alot of large text* Spoiler so for those that dont want to read my extreme commentary/fangirling to make things short: I LOVED IT SOOOOOOOO FREAKING MUCH <333333 FAVORITE DRAMA FOR SUMMER 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! IT WAS SOOOOOOO AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! i think i actually prefer it over the original~ *dodges people and kicks stomachs of those who keep trying to attack me* the biggest factor for me is that i LOVED acchan here. i personally HATED maki as ashiya in the original. like not even kidding. i hated her so much because of it. acchan, i like much more~ as i stated in the spoiler (which rele isnt a spoiler) people state that acchan doesnt make a convincing boy but i personally feel that acchan makes a MUCH BETTER boy that maki did. acchan's hair is shorter, so she looks like a little kid. and her voice has the same quality as that of a boy whose voice just cracked.

TAKUMIX <33333333333 i have been in love with him for over 6 years!!!!!!!!!! he is just so perfect for the role of the doctor i cant even explain~ when i first heard they'd be remaking, i already thought he'd be perfect~ but i seriously had no idea until i watched it <3 the guy is BRILLIANT and slightly hentai but sooooo just <3 like rele this character is soooo reminiscent of when he acted as my darling yuushi in tenimyu as well as when he was arisada-senpai in puripuri d <3 and i already mentioned this but i have been WAITING for him to take on another gay role since boys love, itsuka no kimi e, and sukitomo <3 like he is the KING, no EMPEROR, of BL movies!!!!!! <3 so this is just *FLAILSSSS* --> *passes out*

Wait... Doc was in a BL?! I WANNA SEEE!!!! WATCHED EPISODE 1!!! xD So there's been a lot of stick about the new Hana Kimi, especially it's first episode... well my opinion is.. I FREAKING LOVED IT! I laughed ALL the way through!! This could be because although I LOVE the 2007 Hana Kimi, I am treating Ikemen Paradise 2011 (as I'm calling it) - and the new Ouran and You're Beautiful - as a completely different dorama, but with the same plot: Girl pretending to be a boy. So yeah, I disbanded all disbelief, sat back adn watched and I was totally blown away from it, I love how different it is! Different school, different circumstances (it's closing) I love that they're like the bottom of all schools. I love how the actors have made the characters their own, I love that Sano has some feelings, I love he accepted to participate but then didn't - YAY! Go Sano! I love Shohei's take on Nakatsu, I love Tomo, I love the new Senri, I like how they kept the original soundtrack, nice natsukashii there! I LOVE Oscar! Especially his eyes! Not so keen on the new Blossoms though, but I'm not a liker of girls so in ANY situation it takes me ages to like a girl (in RL too!) so yeah LOVED IT! For me there's like a BILLION Positives AND... about.... 3 or 4 negatives! So here I go = with screencaptures!! xD BUT first with the negatives: 1. I hate the opening and ending theme songs. 2. Maeda just made me cringe all the way through it, her voice is horrible. And you could so tell it's a girl, atleast Maki scruffed her hair up and pulled off a realistic and believable boy voice and body language. And infact, I don't remember her in this! I was too busy laughing and looking at everyone else! I can't even tell you one line that she spoke! =S 3. I dislike how they all became friends quickly, I think friendships should've been created slowly. 4. Maeda just told Sano straight away why she was there.. I would've prefer to it be discovered again... hmm, i m not very fond of this. a remake after 4 years only? i smell just bunch of $$$$$$ behind it... anyway..the cast looks strange to me tho. like only nakatsu ...the rest is just meh...no charisma.. |

I just watched the first episode and first off: I don't get why so many people were saying, that it's exactly the same as the old one. oO The only things that were the same were the music and names. I mean, there's the whole new situation with the school closing down and there are no fangirls waiting at the school entrance and stuff. Anyways, I loved it sooooo freaking much!! <33 I didn't know I could turn into a fangirl this quickly, but a single little smile from Tomo turned out to be enough for me to start hyperventilating~ Omg, how can he be so.. so I don't even know how to describe it xD And can Shohei be an any more perfect Nakatsu as this? I loved Toma as well, but if Shohei keeps this up, I'll love his Nakatsu just as much as I love Toma's Nakatsu. And omg those little ShoheixTomo/NakatsuxKayashima scenes (like Kayashima smiling when seeing that Nakatsu threw away that letter from the other school) were killing me <33333 I love the new Sano. I really do. He seems to be much more smiliar to the manga-Sano than Oguri's Sano and that's a huge improvement imo. Not to mention that Nakamura Aoi is hot~~ Same for Nanba~~ and the new Senri is probably the cutest thing I've ever seen <3 And Oscar is FREAKING hot!! What's with that? He's not supposed to be so hot, is he? Not that I have anything against it though~ And OMFG Umeda-sensei *dies* I loved the old Umeda a lot, he was handsome and cool, but this new guy is SO freaking hot and you just have to look at him and you know he's gay~~ sooo perfect for Umeda-sensei! Ah, and than there's Maeda of course.^^ Her acting actually reminded me of Maki's, I don't know if she's doing it intentionally, though. But I think she looks more like a guy than Maki did. And even though I don't like her voice, I agree with koi that she sounds like a boy whose voice just cracked, so I guess it's fine. But, to be honest, I couldn't concentrate on her much with all those hotties around and TOMO OMG, I still can't get over his perfectness~~ *dies~* I'm sorry for this totally meaningless post, but I just had to say this~ :'D |
