SuJu subgroups Well, from what I understand, the subs were formed to not limit the Super Junior activities. The goal was to show that they can perform different kinds of music genres. They are quite confusing, but they do create more choices and varieties esp for the SuJu crowd. 1. Super Junior-K.R.Y [2006] Members:Kyuhyun, Ryeowook, & Yesung M Genre: R&B Ballad ::Apparently the trio has some particular magic that created a fan-base seperated from the rest of the group. Spoiler 2. Super Junior-T [2007] Members: Heechul, Kangin, Shindong, Sungmin, Eunhyuk M Genre: Trot [oldest form of Kpop] ::With only one single, they are the first idol group known to capitalize Trot music Spoiler 3. Super Junior-M [2008] Members: Han GengSi Won, Kyuhyun, Donghae, Ryeowook, Henry & Zhou Mi [the last two are non-SuJu members] M Genre: mainstream dance pop :: The goal was to influence Kpop with the Chinese market. (The M in their name being Mandarin.) It is the most successful subgroup so far, having one charttopper album, Me. Spoiler 4. Super Junior- Happy [2008] Members: Leeteuk, Yesung, Kang-in, Shindong, Sungmin, and Eunhyuk M Genre: Bubblegum Pop Spoiler |
