What version of Boys Over Flower would you prefer? - Page 2 - AnimeCrazy.net Forums

All in all, I enjoyed the Korean version the most. I loved almost everything about it and the cast were all really adorable, which I know is not the point but sometimes it does add up to the whole thing. As for the performance, they did well. The improvs were good. The only thing that I did not like would be the fact that KJoon was barely given lines and the music.

But I have high praises as well for Meteor Garden and HYD. Meteor Garden got me so hooked, and was the reason that I started watching asian dramas. I love their soundtrack, catchy and really good. Surprising actually, since I love Korean and Japanese much much more than Taiwanese. It started and built up the whole F4 thing, and they performed the story very well.

And since I like Japanese stuff so much, I really appreciated HYD. Makino Tsukushi was best portrayed here by Inoue, for me. I admire Hye Sun very much, but I think Mao did better with the Makino character. And of course, who can forget Hanazawa Rui here. Shun ftw~! But then I havent even started with LMH yet as Jun Pyo....

Ah well. So all three were awesome, but yes still Korean for me. Nonetheless, all three should be watched.

this is the drama section if you didnt know that
those types of questions you can state in an intro thread
or as a blog or in the lounge

Yes. It finished airing two months ago.
It's here in DC, all 36 eps subbed and good to go.

I prefer korean cause the effects of korean scene back round culture and styles make it more interesting ~ :'D

I haven't seen the Tai or Chinese version yet, but I thought that the korean version was able to show in better detail the emotions of each character and the over all plot was more detailed.
The japanese version was good also, but I just feel like it could have been better.
