Em, which one do you prefer: Korean movie or Korean drama? Why? For me, i like the movie more. Simply because, the duration of the movie is shorter. So i dont have to wait or watch a so long episode of Korean drama.Yeah, u know Korean drama is well-known for its so many episode - the least i found is 12, normally is either 16 or 20, super long is 70+. It just took a lot of time, patience and effort. But, of course i did watch several Korean dramas too. Usually there are not really long for me less than 30 ep. And dont forget that there are so many good Korean movie. So, how about you? Movie or drama? |

both have plus and minuses. Dramas: I love because you get to know the characters better. get to understand their mentality and how they act/react. And it's something to wind me down after a stressful week. I always anticipate the next episode. where it be the next day or next week. Major plus - they tend to feel more like actual life. (not our world reality life but the characters life's seem more like they belong to them. It's hard to explain) And It's always nice to become part of a fandom, weather it be a legion of fan girls for the second male lead or just an avid watcher. With dramas you become part of the community for a moth or two or three. I dislike because they tend to draaaaaaaagon a bit to much around the middle section (though I will be the first to admit that there are exceptions to this aka. most Hong Sisters dramas) though that's more to do with script writers than the actual dramas themselves. Once the actors have worked for weeks straight without any rest they tend to get sloppy in some parts. Movies: I love because it's just a one time thing. something that can grab your interests, heart and mind for an AMAZING hour or two. And it's always tied up nicely with a bow on top. They don't drag. If it's a good movie, it's something you can watch time and time again. The standard of acting tends to be better. It's kind of confusing ( ) sometimes when you don't really understand what's happening like the movie just puts you slap bang in the middle of somebody's life with no explanation of what's going on or why somebody acts the way they do (unlike in dramas, you can't mature along with the characters).Overall I'd take dramas over movies because you end up feeling more connected to them, rather than a hour and a half long movie. ![]() ![]() Congratulations if you read this and come out the other side with your brain cells in tact. To synykiss, No problems if you feel like writing essay. You could practise to do so here too.I think longer post is better since your thought is well-reflected and it could avoid any misunderstanding. |
