Weird Things In Korean Dramas

i am not Korean but i like them because of the dramas
any way , i want to know some are they really doing this :
1 a girl so boyish and she can beat the man or staff like that?
that's it for now ...

All the police investigations... So much injustice! And misunderstandings too - most of them could seemingly be avoided if the accused person would just tell the truth instead of just sitting quietly while being accused of this and that... Well, I guess that might go with the general instructions to not to say anything (just speak with a lawyer) but still! Everyone seems to be getting convicted with false accusations.

Here are a few that I could think of

1. face slaps
2. water thrown in the face
3. designer bag fetish
4. confessions in the pouring rain
5. piggy back rides
6. running to stop someone when it would have been easier to call a cab or take your car
7. not speaking up when wrongly accused of something
8. frequently downing the soju and getting drunk
9. cars that will not stop or try to avoid running you over
10.getting into bed fully clothed or even with wet clothes, yuck.

Some of this I heard that really happens in Korea (maybe some Koreans can tell us better):
designer bag fetish - I read some article that some women spend half (or more) their paychek to buy them,
koreans are heavy drinkers according to wikipedia, and soju is the cheapest and you cand try this site: black out korea at blogspot dot com,
also the traffic is pretty bad, nobody cares about the rules and a lot of accidents occur.

So maybe this dramas are exagerated but still they are inspired by reality and some of this things we see are weird for us.

In real life too. My mom threw water to my face in 2009 when I refused to wake up to school :'D

- Having a flu/cold/fever after getting caught in the rain for 5 minutes (although can be seen too in Taiwanese dramas, not so much in Japanese dramas *I guess*)

- Mostly the characters order orange juice or coffee at a cafe. And they hardly drink it, or not.

- Even if the character is poor and can’t eat, they never wear the same clothes twice, or have the same bag

- They take off the battery if they don't want to answer the phone call instead of just turning it off

- When character get off or board a plane , they always wearing sunglasses

- When the characters want 2 rooms in a hotel, only one will be available, and that one room will only have one bed

In real life, I never threw water in my son's face to get him out of bed, screamed, pleaded, cried, but what I found most effective was to pour crushed ice down his back now that usually worked.

AtoTheLex list reminded me of something else:
- even if they live in a dump they get designer bags and clothes (and yeah, it's never the same)
- they leave to the States all the time, they buy a ticket in the last minute even if they're poor (do you know how expensive are plane tickets to North America?! ) and they don't need a visa
- when they leave and pack their bags they have like a handfull of clothes, but as I was saying they have tons of stuff; in that suitcase it deosn't even fit all the bags a girl wore from the begining of the show.
