is sin (a-b) sin of A minus B? so you want me to find the angle on the unit circle of tan (a minus b). what is equal to or lesser than 3pi/2 tho?

3(pi)/2 would be 180-45 = 135 degrees on the unit circle, this is because pi = 180 degrees, pi/2 = 90 degrees... sin(1) = 1 at 90 and sin(1) = 0 at 90.

I believe -sin(sqrt(2)/2) and -cos(sqrt(2)/2) is 135 degrees on the unit circle. I was never good at the unit circle... I prefer calculus over trig.

given sin(a-b) if tan(a)=24/7, pi lesser or equal to "a" lesser or equal to 3pi/2, and sin(b)=4/5, b is not in the 1st quadrant
find tan(a-b)

tan(a-b)= -4/3
sin(a-b) = 4/5

Did I get it right? :/

Can the drug hydroxyurea reduce the severe pain caused by sickle-cell disease? A study by the National Institutes of Health gave the drug to 150 sickle-cell sufferes and a placebo (a dummy medication) to another 150. The researchers then counted the episodes of pain reported by each subject.
