Attraction includes a lot of things: your actual physical looks, age, hygiene, clothing, hairstyle, and yes personality as well. Honestly they are all important to me to some degree or another, but when I think about just spending time with someone, their personality has got to be the most important thing. (And by personality, I don't just mean their "attitude" at that particular time. I mean the presence of their being - how they act, what they say, and of course how they make me feel.) Looks will draw my attention at first (as people have been saying), but that's about it. And usually I don't even go so far as talk to someone I find attractive, because what would I say anyway "you are attractive"??? Even if I were sincerely making a compliment I'd just be misinterpreted as "sexually harassing" people. So, there must be other reasons for meeting & forming relationships with people, though they are often quite mysterious to me. Last edited by KonohaVillager; 11-08-2009 at 09:26 AM. |
