 I can't believe I forgot those! they're awesome! Prob cos I don't have the books and I borrowed them from the library, but yes, if you see any of the Tales of the Otori (Heaven's Net Is Wide, Across the Nightingale Floor, Grass For His Pillow, Brilliance of the Moon, Harsh Cry of the Heron, all by Lian Hearn) they're deffo well worth reading (the first and last of those are a sequel and prequel to the series so not so essential if they seem daunting, cos they're kind of big books)Spoiler ^more info bout them for those who are interested  ^

Wow!!! i finally found a thread where you talk about books!! YES!!!! =D i'm so excited...although i see that nobody has posted in here for a while...i hope that changes... I love books. My favorite book right now is called: I am the Messenger by Markus Zusak also the author of The book Thief... This book is about a underage cab driver who recieves myterious playing cards with codes on them in the mail...=D Its a great book. Very entertaining and rich!

OH i wanted to read the Kite Runner! Was it good? Also I have read Of Mice and Men...that was a sad book... I would also recommend A Single Shard by Linda Sue Park. Very good. Sad and heroic! And its quite a short book. So easy reading!

Kite Runner is AMAZING. My top 5 ever: Fight Club 1984 Kite Runner Da Vinci Code Brave New World Tough list, but that's what I came up with right now.
